Electrification 2024

EPRI hosted Electrification 2024 in the historic city of Savannah, GA, bringing together thought leaders and innovators from across the electrification spectrum under the theme, “Accelerating Together for an Electrified Future!” The conference featured immersive workshops, agenda-based sessions, and networking opportunities as well as a central Expo Hall all focused on decarbonization and the transition to clean energy. Business, policy, government, and academic stakeholders, as well as vendors and other partners all joined together to make this Electrification Conference one of the best yet.

Primary Lockup

All roads led to the main entrance at the Savannah Convention Center. Depending on what side of the river attendees or exhibitors stayed, the way to the conference was by ferry, via trolley or on foot. This required a variety of wayfinding signage to make their paths easy and clear.

At the center of all the action, the Convention Center Rotunda columns allowed for simultaneous branding and wayfinding, creating a more immersive experience for attendees.

First stop was registration located right in front of the expo hall for easy access. Inside Expo we created lounges for people to rest and recharge in between the various exhibitor booths.

To boost innovation, EPRI featured a Startup Showcase. Out of 200 applicants, 20 of the best startups were selected to pitch their technologies on stage. They also had one‑on‑one meetings set up at their kiosks.

We created synchronized animations to span across the three displays above the main stage to introduce each plenary session. The sessions included an opening for the event, equity & affordability, regulatory & policy, and closing remarks.

EPRI created a wealth of educational sessions for attendees each day. Due to construction, the sessions were split between the main convention center and the hotel across the street. This necessitated significant additions to signage to make the different locations clear and easy to locate.

A convention just isn’t the same without a little fun. The opening reception was held in the expo hall. The second day featured an oyster bash and southern food complete with branded games. The closing party was held at a rooftop bar across the river. A slide transported people from the roof top to the level below.
