Rock ‘n’ Roar
To change things up this year, REF hosted an Open House to mark the completion of the remodeled Caesar Chavez Ravenswood Middle School. The community pride celebration was a fun and free event, featuring carnival games, student performances, speakers, music, food, and more.
The school’s lion mascot provided the perfect inspiration for the event branding. With a new front-facing perspective and some extra flair, the Rock ’n’ Roar party was complete.

No amount of planning can account for the weather, however. We tracked the rain, moved things inside, and the community showed their school spirit by showing up in droves, totally undeterred by the downpour.

Due to the rain, student performances were moved to the cafetorium to take advantage of the roof and indoor stage. Everything cleared up for the last hour, so the final dance performance took place outside on the main stage.

Thank you so much for everything you did to make Rock ’n’ Roar shine! We’ve gotten so much positive feedback — the design set the perfect tone for the event.
