Motion

Putting your brand in motion

From large scale events to messaging that you hold in the palm of your hand, we love to bring imagery to life through movement. Even the smallest bit of animation can engage the viewer in a unique way and make a world of difference on any screen, big or small.
  • DOD

Branded animation for Emerge’s series of post-election luncheons, celebrating victorious candidates in a variety of pivotal elections — from local and city level to the highest and most influential state offices. Attendees gathered in-person and via live broadcast to raise funds in continued support to defend our democracy.

  • E2022

As part of the expansive array of branding for the Electrification 2022 International Expo, we created a branded animation loop for the 48-foot wide display in the plenary session hall.

  • EJ50

Earthjustice held a hybrid event, commemorating their five decades of fighting for the future of the planet. To brand this milestone, we returned to the building blocks of nature, using the four elements as an overarching theme. Earth, air, fire, and water—each element got its own icon and distinct color, creating contrast against the black and white videos.

  • VETI

Somewhere between an identity and a visual mnemonic, we created this motion graphic for VETI (Virtual Experience Technology Innovators), an internal collaboration within EPRI (Electric Power Research Institute), to support virtual summits during the pandemic. Since virtual spaces exist online they can take on a variety of shapes. So we pushed the boundaries of that concept and created a linear animation of hexagons, cubes, triangles, and more to illustrate the flexibility of digital space.

  • Tompert Design to Love Orange

Developing our new logo for Love Orange was a true labor of love. Just like we do for our clients, we went through many iterations before we hit the sweet spot. Bringing our design process to life allows us to give you a little peek into the thinking we put into everything we do.

  • Women's Foundation California

The colorful, modular logo lent itself perfectly to being animated. Unfolding it like paper, flying it in like kites, fanning it outward, and play with it as building blocks, we animated the logo to introduce WFC’s new branding in ways as diverse as the community they represent.

  • RevUp

To help generate extra funding momentum for Ravenswood Education Foundation’s annual fundraiser, we created a special opening animation that flowed on in colorful lanes like a race was about to start.

  • All in for Kids

Inspired by murals throughout the Bay Area, we designed and animated images that opened each of the virtual All in for Kids summits to introduce the speakers and provide entertainment as people waited for the event to begin.

  • Call for Courage

To welcome people to the Call for Courage virtual event, we created an opening animation with a 10-minute countdown so people had something compelling to watch while they waited for the event to begin.

  • Emerge Across America

For the opening animation of Emerge’s mid-year virtual fundraiser, we animated custom designed stamps for every state like a roll call welcoming everyone to the event.

  • Emerge15

Our opening animation transformed the event branding we created into a motion graphic to introduce the event and showcase each of the key speakers of the evening.

  • WFC40

For the Women’s Foundation California’s 40th anniversary galas, we designed and animated giant motion graphic flowers that were featured on large displays next to the stage to set the mood before and during the gala. Individual flower clips played as bumpers between speakers to provide vibrant eye candy during breaks in the program.

  • QB25

The cubic nature of the event logo allowed us to play with it in animations, turning into a Rubik’s Cube that solves itself, a kaleidoscope of color, and a series of rotating color blocks that all resolve into the QB25 logo.

  • QB25 Snapchat Filters

We created custom Snapchat filters for the scholars and alumni to use at the QB25 summit and share with their digital community.

  • Beam Pro / Teaser

With the launch of the Beam Pro fast approaching, we created a 30 second teaser ad.

  • Beam Pro Features

For the launch of the BeamPro 2 at CES we created a series of animations showcasing the new product features.

  • Beam / How It Works

Suitable Technologies' flagship product, Beam, provides authentic eye-to-eye connection instantly across distance, allowing you to seamlessly move within the space and engage in real time. How virtual communication is supposed to be!

  • XXV

For the Global Fund for Women’s 25th anniversary, we created a branded video to be used at the opening of documentaries, interviews, and other videos shown during the celebration year.

  • Global Fund for Women

Animated key visual for the Global Fund for Women's annual report. We chose a typographic design solution for this year's theme—celebrating differences and unity. We created a world map using keywords from the women's struggle, set in their native languages and letterforms. Unexpectedly, the final image revealed the geographic migration of the letterforms quite beautifully.

  • Homage to Muybridge

To celebrate innovations in cinema at the Palo Alto International Film Festival, we created a tribute to Eadweard Muybridge and his famous galloping horse stop-motion study performed at Stanford University. Muybridge was a pioneer in the photographic study of movement, and his exploration of “The Horse in Motion” is attributed to launch the beginning of film.

  • DVT

Opening animation for the audio-visual B2B presentation of DVT Treatment Advances. We used graphical elements that we created for the brand identity that came to us through Versaggi BioCommunications, a strategic marketing consultancy in the business of clarifying and communicating the vision for the global life-sciences industry.
